Are you ready to start your off-road racing journey?

Follow the easy online steps below to make your way to start line at your first GXCC race!

BE A MEMBER

The first step to starting your off-road journey is to become a member of a MSA affiliated club. At GXCC, we offer one-event or annual memberships. To become a member of GXCC click here.

CHOOSE YOUR CLASS

We have a wide variety of classes catering for juniors and seniors, quads and motorcycles and newcomers and professionals. Choose your class according to your age, bike capacity and skill level. Click here to see the available classes.

GET LICENSED

All competitors, whether racing in a social class or a pro class, need to have a competitor’s license issued by Motorsport South Africa. The cost of this license includes personal injury insurance cover. The type of license that you should purchase is a cross country motorcycles and quads/enduro license. Click here to purchase yours!

GET A RACE NUMBER

All annual license holders must apply for a formal race number at MSA. One-event license holders can either use the number that is currently on their bike or choose a number, but must in both instances add an “X” in front of the number. Click here to apply for your race number.

CREATE A PROFILE

Before entering a race, we will need all your details. Have your race number and MSA license ready for this. Create your rider profile here to make entering our events quick and easy.

ENTER A RACE

Now that we have your details, you are ready to enter your first race. All race information can be found under the “Calendar & Next Event” page. We offer easy check-out and payment of entry fees via our Payfast payment portal. You can also add a medical kit and Tork Craft raffle tickets to your entry before you check out.

GET A TIMING TAG

ProTiming is our timing service provider. Timing tags are available from the timekeeper (situated at the finish line) on the day of the event. You can re-use  your tag for future events. To follow live timing, click here.

KNOW THE RULES

Now that you are done with all your admin, it is time to familiarise yourself with the rules applicable to cross country racing.To make it easier for you, make sure to check out our “Know Your Rules” album on facebook.

GET NOTIFIED

Make sure you don’t miss out on results, notifications and the latest GXCC news! Join our Telegram group to stay informed. Keep an eye on this group on race day for important information.

CHECKLIST
